BACKGROUND

From its humble beginnings the AKPI Group now has a combined total of 24 years of operations and experience in providing flexible plastic packaging solutions. With the collaborative technical and engineering expertise of Bruckner Machinenbau of West Germany, a leading manufacturer of advanced BOPP production machinery, the AKPI Group has a potential production capacity of more than 70,000 tonnes of materials. This makes us one of the largest producers in the Asia-Pacific region.

ISO 9001

The constant endeavour towards quality management and assurance resulted in the AKPI Group been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001 certification, by Lloyds. AKPI in December 1996, while Stenta in January 1997. Further standards compliance were made to JAB, for the Japanese standards and DAR to the Dutch and European standards.

OUR QUALITY PRODUCTS

Our products are marketed under 5 brand names : Arlene OPP Film, Avin PVC Film, Arex Acrylonitrate Film, Areta PET Film and Arcylene Cast PP Film.

TECHNICAL SERVICE

The key element of the AKPI Group is in its on-site technical support both in the preliminary and post production use of its films. Combined with qualified R&D staff and facilities, packaging solutions are tailor made to meet the stringent needs of the customer.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

The AKPI Group is committed to environmental protection through recycling and processing of waste into regranulated resins for use by downstream industries.

OUR MANUFACTURING FACILITY

We have two manufacturing facilities : the main one P.T Arga Karya Prima Industries located in Bogor, Indonesia and the second Stenta Films (M) Sdn Bhd located in Selangor, Malaysia.
